Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains how Relock handles the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us. This English version is provided for convenience. If there are any differences, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Who is responsible for the processing
The controller of your personal data is Rufino João Nobre Leite, tax ID (NIF) 229642608, who carries out the activity under the Relock brand, at Largo Mouzinho de Albuquerque.
For any privacy question, contact us by email at geral@relock.pt or by mobile on 938 482 255 (call to national mobile network).
2. What data we collect and how
- Contact by WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, your phone number and the content of the conversation, including the service location if you provide it.
- Website form: name, phone and a description of your request. The form does not send data to the website: it opens the visitor's WhatsApp or email app with the message written, and it is only sent if the visitor confirms in that app.
- Technical data: when the website loads, the browser fetches fonts from Google servers (Google Fonts), which receive the visitor's IP address. The website hosting provider may also record technical access data, such as the IP address.
- Cookies: this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
3. What we use the data for and on what basis
- Replying to your contact and quote requests: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Providing the requested service and meeting tax and accounting obligations: performance of a contract and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Keeping the website secure and working: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives the data
Your data may be received by the services we use to communicate with you and to run the website: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (WhatsApp), email and telecommunications providers, Google (fonts) and the website hosting provider. It may also be disclosed to authorities, such as the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority, when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some of these providers, such as Meta and Google, may process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep the data
Data from requests that do not lead to a service is kept only for as long as needed to reply and handle the request, and is then deleted. Data from services provided is kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, object to and port your data. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
To exercise these rights, write to geral@relock.pt. We reply within one month at most.
If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
8. Is providing the data mandatory?
Your name and phone number are needed so that we can reply. Without them, we cannot handle your request.
9. Automated decisions
We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling with your data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when necessary. The date of the last update is at the top of the page.
